About 35 minutes outside of town, in the countryside on the way to Kep, is La Plantation Kampot Pepper Farm.

You can get here on a rented motorcycle, tuk tuk or car from town. $5 to rent a motorcycle. $20 for a tuk tuk (up to 4 people, maybe 6). It’s about 30 minutes from downtown.

Also fruits, rice, fish and vegetables. Then, on to learning to cook Khmer (Cambodian) food the old fashioned way. You’ll have to contact them to arrange the class.
PEPPER FARM TOUR
Just come to the restaurant, after you park, and free tours leave all day. (set times only between May and October). A free hour and 15 minute walking tour around the farm, with a pepper tasting in the restaurant / shop afterwards. You can also request a paid private tour in advance for larger groups.
