Every evening, weather permitting. Day trips on request.
Starting between the New Bridge and Railroad Bridge. Boats are also picking up passengers on the River, downtown, next to the Old Bridge. (good to know your bridges here)
About 10 boats, (the other 10 are just docked and serve as real Riverside restaurants).
Leaving at 5:30pm or 6pm, but really, always leave late.
For a 2 hour tour (1.5 hours?)
The price for you is $5, including 2 beers or sodas, but you can pay just $2.50 without the drinks if you point to the sign and argue. (Locals they only charge $2.50 with no drinks.) Beers on the boats are $1.
Food and drinks served on the boat.
Usually going upriver, under the Old Bridge and stopping for 10 minutes by some trees to watch fireflies (lightning bugs), and then turning around and coming back.
You’ll probably have some loud Khmer techno music on the ride back. Ask before you buy your ticket, if you don’t like loug techno music.
You can sit on the roof, or a covered downstairs.
No chairs on the roof, as you have to crouch down to go under the Old Bridge.
If you have a group, just rent the whole boat.
