Kampot Hotels range from small fan rooms to a luxurious resort hotel on the beach.
You can get a nice room downtown for $7, with a bed or two, fan, TV, private bathroom with hot water, good location, windows, maybe balcony, and amenities like a couple of free waters, soaps, shampoo packs, toothbrushes, and tissue. Add $6 to $8 and you get Air-Con.
You can also get a nice room on a mountain, beach or The Kampot River for $200 – $600. These are nicer than the $7 rooms.
The foreign owned places generally cost more than the locally owned ones, and you might get less of a room, but the room and atmosphere may be more to your liking, and the staff a bit more helpful.
You can usually rent a bicycle or motorcycle right from your hotel, but you might want to go to Mr. Bison Tours for this and get a better bike (motorcycle).
Several hotels in Kampot have conference rooms. They all seem to have swimming pools.
During Holidays, most or all hotels are full, but you can make reservations at most places in advance, on-line.
