Kampot Street Food

The food you buy from the side of the Street.

Kampot is filled with street food.

Along the Riverside.
Around the Durian Circle.

On Old Bridge Street.

And everywhere in between

Fried, dried, shaken, stirred, roasted, broiled, barbequed, and even baked.

Dried fish, dried squid, roasted duck, fried meat on a stick, rice, sandwiches, desserts, rice, soups, and more rice.  Fresh fruits, candied fruits, sticky rice treats, pickled fruits and veggies, boiled and barbequed veggies, Cambodian pizza, mystery meats, fried crickets, frogs, and grubs, fried bananas, and fresh durian fruit.  Noodles, and hard boiled eggs, (with the baby duck still inside)

It’s all good! (or at least to somebody)

Some of the street food comes to you in push carts, pull carts, on the back of a motorcycle, or carried on someone’s head.

Also, lots of street side coffee shops.

Around half the price of a restaurant.

Try it all!

If it doesn’t kill you, it will make you stronger.
