Owned by three well-traveled guys from Australia, Ireland and England, Arcadia was dreamt up at a rave on the salt flats in Bolivia in 2010. In subsequent conversations the owners continued to travel and plot spanning an impressive selection of locations around the world, however it wasn’t until they all met in Kampot in June 2013 that they knew they had at last found the perfect place to bring their dream to life.

7 kilometers out of town you can find the new Arcadia Backpacker Kampot. Guesthouse, restaurant and bar. Right on the Tek Chhou rapids. Same side of the Kampot River as downtown, but to GET HERE, you’ll want to cross the Kampot River from town, turn RIGHT, go upriver about 7 minutes, cross on the FERRY, and turn RIGHT.
